Eight months

okay okay, i'm two weeks late.  ugh...  i'm so annoyed with myself but i never get a chance to put my thoughts together!

at eight months, our sweet girl was:

• pulling up on every piece of furniture she could find
• trying her hardest to "cruise" around the living room
• slowly but surely making friends with the kitties
• eating every bit of "real" food in her sight
• pushing away mushy food
• giggling and giggling
• playing peek-a-boo
• twisting and turning during diaper changes
• walking with our help
• sitting in the stroller without the infant seat
• traveling on her first airplane ride
• making friends with princesses
• surviving her first hurricane...and snowstorm
• dressing up for halloween as cinderella (her cousin hailey's choice)
• drooling drooling drooling
• swimming in a pool
• sitting in a shopping cart
• acting like a star in music class
• smiling and grinning 

we're still looking for those first teeth and those first words and those first steps!  up next...christmas and a trip home to long island to see family and friends.  first we have to set up all those christmas decorations!
