The numbers

7: weeks of sick in this house
2: holidays ruined by the sick
2: positive strep tests
2: ears infected (more if you include MIL)
2: prescriptions for amoxicillin (3 if you include MIL)
4: body parts that a thermometer has touched (at last count)
500: milligrams in an extra-strength tylen.ol and amoxicillin tablets
472 (approximately): doses of pain and fever relievers taken this weekend
3 or 4: hours of sleep i got each night - broken up of course by cries, coughing, medicine dosing, popsicles, reading, singing
294 (approximately): number of times i wash my hands or use hand sanitizer each day
5: times i remember to put lotion on my hands
7: knuckles bleeding from washing too often
2: trips to tar.get for medicine
15,397(approximately): tissues used since mid-December
5: total trips to doctor
0: sick days taken - all of this has conveniently landed on vacation days or normal days off
2: bottles of barium swallowed by yours truly (yup this is a whole separate matter from the sick but i included it because i'm proud that i did it)
2: glasses of wine at night...don't even think about judging me...it would have been the whole bottle if i didn't have to get up during the night!
