Nine months

oh my, i'm so bad at this...here's the nine month post twenty days late!

the thing about nine months is that she never stops moving.  never.  i'm exhausted.  people ask how i lost the baby weight and i'm like, i never stop either!  and i never get a chance to eat!  it's a good diet plan actually...haha.  anyway, here's what cass was like at nine months (from what i can remember):

• babbling started...it's so fun to listen to.  "dadada" is a big one.  she has LOTS to say.
• tooth #1 made it's appearance!  it's not like a lack of teeth has slowed her down or limited her diet or anything, but it's exciting to have a tooth in there.
• her appetite has only increased...solid foods are the winners here and mushy foods are way down on the list of delicious things.  she will eat anything.  ANYTHING.  that means that she eats any food we give her, but it also means that she will eat anything else that she finds.  old stray peas are particularly popular, but many other things also got in there - pine needles, cat fur, dust bunnies (not that i have any of those), cat treats, etc.
• cruising has begun and she's enjoying making her way around our gigantic couch
• the landscape of our living room has changed...no more coffee table, it was just a hazard
• she took a fall down our stairs (oops the gate was open) and also had her first bloody injury when a spoon jammed into the roof of her mouth (cue silent cry)
• we get told that she's "a busy girl" a lot...i think that translates to "she's exhausting" but i'm not sure
• she loves to "read"
• she's officially done with six month clothes...i just got them put away last week.  it's officially my worst job.  she's wearing nine month and twelve month clothes.
• she's 21 pounds (probably more by now) and 29 inches...and her head is still gigantic!
