Eleven months

well here we are...just put the baby down for a nap and have a few minutes to get this post done!  feels like life is speeding by lately.  cass turned eleven months almost a week ago and we are gearing up for her first birthday party. how did that happen so fast!  here are some stats from the past month:

• we definitely have a walker!  she started walking a couple days after her 10 month birthday.  she even has cool little sneaks to run around in.  she's taken a few spills, but otherwise is doing well.  she's so excited to be moving around and is so fast that sometimes i lose her in the house!
• she's working on her words...definitely has little sounds for the kitties, for daddy, for "hi", for dog, etc.  very cute.  she's still staying away from "mama" though.  
• she had her first true babysitter this month...mom and dad actually went out for a date!  
• she made it through her first blizzard!  we got 32" of snow and we stuffed her in her pink snowsuit and brought her outside.  she wasn't sure what to make of it but did enjoy eating the snow!  
• she went to her first football playoffs party
• she was a hit at her great grandma's 90th birthday bash
• she returned to music class and there's a big difference now...she's better with the rhythms and has a great time in class.  she's interacting more with the other kids and moms too.
• she had no interest in her 11 month pics (see above)...she tore the paper in half after about three seconds and then just posed in funny positions...but i love her pants!
