My sweet girl...you're one year old! I'm so proud of you and how far you have come. You can smile, laugh, sing, walk (forwards and backwards), eat a whole bunch of foods (haven't said no yet), climb the stairs, dance, blow kisses (mmmmwah!), and even say some words like "dada" and "hi" (although i'm still begging for "mama"). You are 24 pounds and 29 inches long. You love your daddy, you love kitties and dogs, you love going outside, and you love your lambie. You go to "school" two days a week, you go to grandma and granddad's house one day a week, and you go to music class once a week. You have been on a plane to Florida and have taken trips to New Hampshire and New York. You're starting to understand how to dress and undress yourself and you try to put your jacket on all the time. You have two bottom teeth and are about to pop out a few on the top. You are very curious and love to look in all the cabinets and drawers (daddy's sock drawer is a favorite). You recently found my drawer of bracelets and like to wear them around the house. You like to make a mess but have recently started to clean up after yourself. You love to "read" and enjoy spending some quiet time with your books. You keep everyone smiling and laughing and you are so fun to watch. I'm looking forward to the coming days so I can see what comes next. I love you, baby girl!
This has been quite a year, hasn't it? She is a beautiful little girl, Amanda and Jeff, and you are such good parents. I could watch her for hours - she's such a busy little girl (my favorite is her standing tall and then bending at the knees only to "sit" on her feet so she can get something on the floor - then she pushes back up and goes on her merry way! Her thighs are very strong!!) Enjoy every minute with her...Love, GG
