The poop

well it took 17 months, but it finally happened.  lil c pooped in the bath tonight and i had to clean it up! i couldn't find it in the bubbles...it took forever.  she just kept playing (luckily not with the poop).  we emptied the whole thing out and started over.  i'm so lucky :) 

speaking of 17 months...guess i'll do a quick post on that so we're all caught up.  she's trying to talk up a storm and says all sorts of cute things.  her faves are mama, dada, lawnmower, backhoe (seriously), GG, Bec, papa, hi, bye, pweeeeezzzzze, yellow, and gocsh (goldfish).  she can say all sorts of animal sounds too...my fave is the pig snort.  she's hilarious.  

she has started to climb everything.  she can get up on the couches by herself and is climbing the outside of her crib.  interestingly she hasn't tried to climb out of the crib, but i'm sure now that i wrote that she'll try it in the morning.  her hair is this pretty reddish blonde color and is starting to stick in to her eyes, but she refuses barrettes.  i don't want to cut it.  i just don't.  

she's into tantrums now which i find funny at times, but also annoying.  she can cry at the drop of a hat (good luck to her future boyfriends).  she loves wearing her hats.  she's driving her little pink car or using her bubble mower when outside.  she dances and twirls, a bit awkwardly, but still.  we're doing a mommy and me dance class in the fall along with our usual music class.  

oh and she loves her baby dolls...she puts them to bed in their crib and gives them milk and then says shhhh with her finger up to her lips so that they can go to sleep.  i guess she likes the crib too because the other day she did this:
