Burders...and other little things

no mom, i won't post the picture here...but i did get an awesome picture of a gargantuan booger from cassie's nose.  i had to record it for posterity...or at least for my husband who was out for the night at the world series.  yeah that's right, i spent my night with boogers while he was in boston watching the game.  at least i was warm.

anyway, cassie's new favorite thing is her boogers...or "burders" as she likes to say.  she yells it out..."burders!  burders!"...and then wipes her nose, looking at the tissue each time.  she's obsessed.  my mom says it's my fault, but i think this must be a natural phase.  it's entertaining to say the least.

other little things...she wouldn't pee on the toilet tonight, but she sure would pee on the rug.  she wouldn't take a snack, but she'd eat the cranberry off the floor.  she wouldn't eat dinner off her plate, but she sure would turn it over and eat the food off the tray.  another good moment was when i found chicken down her shirt...and she ate it.  at least i cleaned the quinoa out of her neck folds at bathtime.  picture day is tomorrow so i had to make sure every crevice was clean...like a good mom.  too bad she still has a shiner from the spill she took last week.  bad mom.  we read seven books before bedtime tonight.  good mom.  and i brushed her teeth.  good mom.
