Hi Daddy!

today i went with cassie to tarjay and she was in a pretty good mood so she was saying hi to people, saying hi to her sneakers, and chomping on her little bunny crackers. we were giggling together and probably making a scene, oblivious to others. then a man walked by and she said "HI DADDY!" in her biggest cutest voice. by the look on his face, it was obvious that he was not interested in being her daddy. we walked on and made it through the store without seeing him again.  

then we get in to the checkout line and a different man came up behind us and she said "HI DADDY!" and then to me "IS THAT MY DADDY?" oh my...  i said to the man "don't worry, i'm aware that you're not her daddy!" he was probably freaked out but he laughed and made funny faces at her to make her giggle.  

this is a bit mortifying, but hysterical to me at the same time. she's done this before to other men and i find it funniest when they have no sense of humor and don't know what to do. they literally look like they're about to wet their pants. settle down...it's just a sweet little two year old looking for her daddy!
