we have a birth date...maybe. we went to the OB on tuesday and got a list of potential birth dates that are conveniently based on the OB group's call schedule. we decided to choose a date that allows the baby a few more days to do this on her own. however if little miss comfy cozy decides to stay in, then we will force her out through induction. the plan is to go in to the hospital on sunday night to start the induction process and then hopefully deliver on monday. of course, she still has the opportunity to make an appearance before then so we don't really have a true date yet. hey, at least it's something.
i'm getting beat up by my baby. i'm running out of clothes that fit and/or are comfortable. i'm going a bit stir crazy waiting. i'm taking walks (thank goodness for spring weather the last two days because i was getting wind burn on my face when it was cold). i'm cooking. i'm baking (not only the bun in the oven, but banana bread and cookies too). i'm reading (i now know too much about breast feeding). i'm watching too much bad tv.
just a few more days until all this changes!

ReplyDeleteExcellent. My Puck (now 7) was a week late and 9lbs, 7oz. After a 14 hour induction this baby sumo was delivered via c-section. I thought I would never get him here. How ever your baby arrives, it won't matter when you are holding her in your arms!
