We made it to March!

woo hoo! no leap year baby for us! ahhh...a sigh of relief. i know that if she was born yesterday it would have been fine. she would have a story to tell all her life. but i just didn't want that story and apparently, neither did she. however she did give me a run for my money. later on february 28th when i was trying to sleep that night, she started with some major contractions with pain. that lasted a few hours and then abated. i haven't had a series of contractions since then...that i know of. if you've been reading along, i had no idea what a contraction felt like until i was hooked up to a machine when one happened. hope they're all that benign!

so now we're into march and i'm back on my feet...at least more than i was for the last couple weeks. feels good to be up and moving around. the high risk OB is talking about induction if she's not here by 40 weeks (which is monday the 5th) but my regular OB says 41 weeks (march 12th). i'll talk to both OBs tomorrow and see what they think. this is a rather large baby (their words) so i'm not sure we should wait until she's ready to come out...that may be difficult for everyone involved!
