she loves to read and is always asking someone to sit with her to go through her books. she is now in the toddler room at school! she transitioned up pretty smoothly and seems to be happy. she's kind of a beast and throws herself at everything...tonight she ended up with a bloody eye which i'm sure will be bruised in the morning. i used to tease my nephew for being "polka-dotted" because he had so many bruises on his legs...now she looks the same way. she's fast. really fast. i lose her in the house (i've recently found her sitting at my desk...adorable).
she has a new car (she would borrow other kids' cars and cry hysterically when we had to take her out). she has a little pool and water table and loves getting soaked. she has a new playground to play on outside (garage sale bargain)...loves the slide. we've turned her car seat around in one of our cars and she loves her new perspective. she really likes when we turn around and make faces at her.
she is saying a ton of words now...MAMA finally! bubbles, book, banana, (wait, that's a lot of Bs), dada (of course), daisy & duke (our kitties), milk, bottle, blueberry, diaper, truck, shoes... speaking of shoes, she is obsessed. she borrowed her cousin's shoes a lot when we were visiting with her. now she tries on my shoes and daddy's shoes. i'm trying to capture a pic, but she's too fast! she also does a bunch of animal sounds which is hysterical.
she got to visit with her cousins and it was just so cute...they adored each other. it was fun to watch them interact and figure each other out. there were some wonderful sweet times together.
she's really a little person now and i'm loving every moment.
